A new " Start Center " , new icons , a zoom control in the status bar , a new system for the annotation of texts are the most visible new features in this latest version of the OpenOffice.org suite. The spreadsheet "Calc ' now supports 1024 columns per sheet , for " Writer " , the display of multiple pages at once is now possible. Creating and editing diagrams and illustrations have been revised and enriched. Compatibility aside , we note the support for ODF 1.2 standard ( OpenDocument Format), as well as documents of Microsoft Office 2007. Note also fixes numerous small bugs and imperfections , and improved export spreadsheets as HTML.
